We’re happy to welcome the newest addition to the Paramount family, Keavy Slattery, who’ll be based predominantly at our Cardiff office, boosting the Marketing Team with her creativity, enthusiasm, and passion for all things social.

Hello Keavy. What do you do at Paramount?

I’m a Marketing Executive, which means it will be my job to spread the word across our key communication channels on all the exciting new contracts we’ve won, and share the amazing projects our incredible team have designed and delivered for our clients.

My first time meeting the team was at Paramount’s all-day Company Conference, which was a memorable first impression. We were split into groups for a bit of friendly competition, playing a range of light-hearted, fun activities from lassoing to bowling; I was on the White team.

When I arrived at Paramount HQ the following Monday, I knew all about the company’s 35 years in the industry, and more importantly, who was an exceptional air guitarist and mini golfer!

What did you do before you joined Paramount?

I studied English Literature at Cardiff University, where I started a small business selling cosmetic glitter for events, and discovered a passion for marketing and social media.

I went on to work at a marketing agency for a year, working with clients from a wide-range of industries, followed by a five-year stint in the luxury beauty sector working within a Campaigns Team before starting at Paramount.

What’s been the highlight of your career to date?

I love working in social media, so it must be when my Instagram reel I made (and featured in!) reviewing the Naked Metal Mania makeup palette got shared by the official UK Urban Decay account to thousands of followers; it was a full circle moment for me as I used to wear the product every day as a teenager!

What do you like to do when you’re not at work?

I love spending time with my friends, going for dinner and watching live music at festivals and events. When I’m not socialising, you can catch me in yoga, roller blading or taking a long walk, usually with a coffee in hand!

At Paramount, we’re all about creating places where people want to be. Where’s your favourite place to be?

My favourite place to be is Venice. Everything is so beautiful, from the narrow winding streets and iconic art to canals – and not to mention the food is delicious, especially the gelato and pizza!
