We’re thrilled to announce that our design and fit out project with Menzies has been recognised in the Wales Property Awards with Insider under Fit Out / Refurbishment of The Year; a prestigious exhibit for developments within Wales in the property industry.
Menzies embarked on a new office design after securing 3,000 sq ft of space at the newly refurbished Hodge House building in central Cardiff.
Through a series of analysis, we identified what was good and not so good with the client’s previous office. Our design team suggested a variety of working areas that would take into account post-pandemic working habits, revealing a more adaptable space, where collaboration was key and flexible enough to suit all preferences. Teams would be given the freedom to organise their workspace as and when they needed it.
Menzies trusted us to deliver a balanced space that featured quiet zones, collaborative areas for informal and formal meetings, large kitchen space that could flex to occupy guests and all company get togethers. Read the full case study here.
The success of this project signalled the start of a prosperous partnership with the London-headquartered accountancy firm. In fact, our client was so delighted with the results of Cardiff, our team secured more fit out projects with Menzies across the UK – recently completing Heathrow and Solent, and with others in the pipeline.

This achievement follows in the footsteps of last year’s success in the category, and marks the 7th time Paramount has been nominated within the Wales Property Awards.
In 2020 Paramount won the accolade for the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Hodge House building, in 2021 the CAT A+ ‘plug and play’ solution at Fusion Point One, and last year for the innovative fit out of a 6,000 sq ft office for Conexus.
The Insider Wales Property Awards ceremony takes place on 13th June, at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff, where the winners will be revealed.
