The Brief

Deliver a multi-million-pound refurbishment which would transform an existing office block into a sustainable and efficient workspace, complete with CAT A+ ‘plug and play’ provision.

The Solution

Inside the building the refurbishment embraced some of the latest in sustainable building practices with new energy efficient M&E systems implemented to ensure lower running costs.

To the ground floor we designed and delivered a CAT A+ ‘plug and play’ solution to appeal to occupiers looking to hit the ground running.

Featuring a welcome lounge, and a range of formal and informal collaborative spaces to encourage both small and large groups to come together, slick boardroom, phone booths and ‘pods’ for focussed work, prospective tenants can take inspiration of how they can use and customise the space.

Modular furniture choices allow flexibility and careful consideration was given to acoustics.

Whilst outside, a number of additional features and facilities added to its new, more environmentally friendly character of the site.

Extensive bicycle facilities, including 98 cycle bays along with a newly built shower block have been added in support of a green travel policy, helping cut fuel emissions and travel costs as well as boosting employee health and well-being.

Multiple electric vehicle charging points have also been fitted to the upgraded car parks.

The large package of exterior works included external landscaped break out and seating areas to the rear courtyard to encourage workers to meet, collaborate and relax outdoors, further enhancing health and well-being in the workplace.
