We are delighted to announce that the extensive redevelopment of Fusion Point One in central Cardiff is now complete.

Paramount was selected as the main contractor, on behalf of Fidelity UK Real Estate Fund, for the multimillion-pound refurbishment. The building now offers 64,694 sqft of high-quality Grade A office accommodation over four floors. The internal transformative works include an impressive double height atrium and reception area, along with bespoke break out areas.

Workplaces are shifting towards sustainability as it creates a healthy environment for workers, and there is a truly unique sustainability theme throughout the contemporary design at Fusion Point One. Extensive bicycle facilities and a new shower block has been incorporated into the design to support a green travel policy that helps cut fuel emissions and costs, as well as multiple electric vehicle charging points.

A sustainable working environment needs to also enhance wellbeing in the workplace, and the unique external communal area at Fusion Point One encourages workers to meet and collaborate outdoors.

Our team also completed an extensive package of works to the outside of the building including a bespoke cladding system, landscaped rear courtyard, and updated car parks.

The key objectives for this project were sustainability and efficiency. New energy efficient M&E systems have been implemented throughout the building to ensure lower running costs, and the large floor plates provide complete flexibility to accommodate a range of different fit out layouts. There is a high demand for sustainable office space in the Cardiff market, and we are extremely proud to deliver this project.
