Picton has given us the go ahead to carry out a £1M major refurbishment of the five-storey 67,000 sqft Longcross Court office building in the city centre.
Over 28,000 sqft of office space is to be upgraded, alongside common areas and the creation of a new reception area. The refurbishment works will also include part exposed services, new air conditioning, LED lighting, new WCs and upgraded shower facilities.
We are delighted to be appointed to undertake the transformative works at Longcross Cardiff on behalf of Picton. Modern occupiers are looking for multi-purpose workspace and this refurbishment will allow people to work, meet, relax and collaborate, whilst new shared facilities will provide impressive entertaining space. The upgrade to this building will be a fantastic addition to the Cardiff office market.
— Richard Jones, Owner and Managing Director, Paramount
Property consultancies Knight Frank and Lambert Smith Hampton have been appointed as joint letting agents on the development.
With a range of suites up to whole floors of 10,000 sq ft available, Longcross will provide contemporary workspace suitable for a wide range of office occupiers. The building is prominently located in one of Cardiff city centre’s main arterial routes and is readily accessible for commuters with excellent on-site parking, access to public transport, cycle parking, showers and changing facilities.
— Tom Eddolls, Knight Frank, Cardiff
It is great to see Picton’s commitment to improving the building. The suites will provide modern, high specification space which can meet the needs of modern occupiers and consideration has been given to the ongoing changes that the office market is facing following the COVID outbreak.
