The Solution

Bristol’s Harbourside is now home to the second indoor adventure golf centre from the team at Par 59, following the success of its Cardiff venue.

Created by Studio Severn, the design itself boasts two custom-made mini golf courses, including a colourful funfair-themed course with nine holes and a separate area for interactive social darts. The extensive mechanical and electrical systems, fit out and bespoke furniture was delivered by Paramount.

Located on Millennium Promenade, Par 59 is named after the fact that only a handful of golfers have ever scored 59. Paramount completed the works to the first venue in Cardiff in 2022 – see case study here.

As you step inside, the bar experience is like no other; with quality materials and finishes delivered throughout for a high-class look and feel. Think brass, marble and neon, rich green, blues and pinks, with some ‘Instagrammable’ elements throughout the bar and toilets.

Through our experience of working on the first Par 59 project, our aim was to replicate the same premium quality and to successfully manage the programme to deliver on time for the client’s planned Christmas launch.

This project has been all about partnership. With a tight timeframe, we needed to be agile to adapt and remain on programme with costs carefully considered. The collaboration between the design team, client, consultants and sub-contractors was key to ensure risks were evaluated and minimised as soon as possible.

It was a fast paced and truly collaborative project between us, the client, the team at Studio Severn and the whole supply chain and we look forward to supporting Par 59’s continued growth across the UK and beyond.

What the
client had
to say

“When we first looked at Paramount a few years ago, we liked their friendly approach. It’s been a great relationship that’s grown ever since. Their work speaks for itself and we’re glad we chose them for the works at Par 59. We’re a hugely ambitious company and we hope to work with Paramount in the future to grow our brand across the UK but potentially internationally as well.”
