DS Smith

Our team completed the full strip out of the 12,600 sq ft building in Caerphilly, replaced all heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, introduced new energy efficient lighting and updated all power and security controls.

Collaboration was a key principle in this project. The new workspace needed to encourage its people to work together and meet and socialise easily and effectively. A blend of quiet rooms, meeting suites, individual and group work pods promote choice among the teams in their office experience.

The importance of employee well-being shines through the new facility. To the ground floor, a modern break out area features plenty of biophilia elements throughout, supporting physical and mental health and the connection with our natural surroundings; you’ll also find a designated wellness room for that extra little bit of sanctuary.

Throughout the office environment, zones are cleverly shaped using feature mesh panels, bespoke joinery, and storage solutions. A touch of foliage wherever the eye can see adds to a fresh, comforting and harmonious working experience for the teams at DS Smith.
