We are delighted to welcome our new team member, Adele John who joins us within the newly created post of Health and Safety Manager.
Adele is responsible for providing competent legal and best practice Health, Safety and Well-being advice and guidance. She will take the lead on continuous improvement processes and will also work to maintain Paramount’s ISO 45001 safety standards, which the company have held for over two years.
Previously at Cardiff Council, where she was Corporate Health and Safety Officer, Adele began her Health and Safety career over 20 years ago and brings with her a wealth of experience in this critical field.
Our health and safety responsibilities are our primary objective and there’s nothing more important than the safety of our employees and those attending our sites.
Adele has a strong understanding of the challenges posed by the built environment, and as our fit out and refurbishment projects become more complex and bigger in nature, we wanted to show our commitment to both our clients and our team, the importance we place on a safe working environment.
— Adam Hurlin, Construction Manager, Paramount
I am really looking forward to introducing myself to the business, knowing the projects and getting on site to understand the individual circumstances of each operation, both under the current Covid restrictions and beyond the pandemic.
— Adele John, H&S Manager, Paramount
As part of our ongoing commitment to setting the highest possible standards in our industry, we also hold Gold membership status for Constructionline as well as accreditations for SafeContractor and Acclaim (SSIP).
Paramount continue to strive for excellence and keeps setting the standard in transforming working environments into places where people want to be.
