We are thrilled to announce that Dock House, Bristol scooped the Projects up to 1,500M2 award at this year’s BCO South of England and South Wales awards ceremony.
The BCO Awards, held this year in Cardiff, give public recognition for top quality design and functionality, commending office spaces that set the benchmark for excellence in workplaces.
Developed by V7, with creative concept from architectural firm AWW, Paramount moved into Dock House in October last year. The success story is testimony to the team’s collaborative approach in delivering this fantastic scheme, which has transformed the once dull roadside exterior on Bristol’s historic Welsh Back.
Following the changes many businesses have made as a result of the pandemic, the hybrid working environment at Dock House allows people to choose for themselves the best way to work.
An engaging workspace with varying zones, including formal desks, casual meeting areas, spaces for quiet work as well as a beautifully designed high class coffee bar, all form part of what makes Dock House a distinctive working environment.
Kevin Mashford, Sales Director who heads up the Bristol office, commented: “A regional award recognising the refurbishment of Dock House is a great accomplishment that we are incredibly proud of, but not only that, our hard-working teams get to call this now award-winning workplace ‘home’.”
The project for the iconic Hodge House building in central Cardiff with Stride Treglown was also shortlisted in the Refurbished/Recycled Workplace category at this year’s awards.
Richard Jones, Chief Executive Officer, added: “Congratulations to everyone who helped achieve this fantastic accolade. We’ve developed a strong reputation for setting standards in the creation of inspiring workspaces, and together with our project team, Dock House gave us a chance to flex our expertise and create something truly special for our new base in the South West. We look forward to the national awards later in the year.”
The project will go through to the national BCO awards held in London on October 3rd.
